Mr. Anderson and Mr. Solomon will participate in a discussion around their work "Fractured Lands: How the Arab World Came Apart" featured in an entire issue of the NY Times Magazine in August 2016. 

Mr. Anderson has spent decades reporting from the region. He is the author of Lawrence in Arabia: War, Deceit, Imperial Folly and the Making of the Modern Middle East, his acclaimed 2013 book on the fateful impact of T.E. Lawrence and his World War I contemporaries.

Mr. Solomon is a multimedia journalist, documentary filmmaker and foreign correspondent for The New York Times. In 2015, He was a part of a New York Times reporting team that won the Pulitzer Prize for International reporting.
