Internship Opportunity with the New York Delegation of the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH)
FIDH delegation to the United Nations (UN) in New York is looking for a full-time or
part-time intern available for a minimum of 4 months.

New York's activities include:
* Developing advocacy strategies to protect and promote human rights in crisis
situations (for example: Mali, Myanmar/Burma, Syria, & Haiti) and on thematic
issues (for example: the protection of human rights while countering terrorism,
fighting impunity for international crimes and human rights violations
* Bringing local human rights defenders (from Indonesia, Belarus, Afghanistan, etc.)
to New York and Washington for advocacy meetings with senior UN and
government officials
* Analyzing UN policies and programs and developing and presenting
recommendations to strengthen the work of the UN in upholding human rights
