The Occupied Palestinian Territory - A Human Rights Analysis
Thursday September 29
12:10pm - 1:10 pm
Jerome Greene Hall, Room 102B
On the backdrop of recent, alarming erosions in respect for human rights in the Palestinian territory, two Israeli human rights organizations - Adv. Neta Patrick, Executive Director of Yesh Din and Tania Hary, Director of Gisha - will provide the latest analysis from their work on the ground in both the West Bank and Gaza. Neta will focus on shifts in policy regarding settlement expansion and the challenges faced by Palestinian landowners seeking to claim their property rights. Tania will address reconstruction efforts two years since the last military operation in Gaza, as well as recent setbacks in access policy.
Lunch will be served.
