Join us for an evening with Sohail Daulatzai, Associate Professor of Film and Media Studies and African American Studies at the University of California, Irvine who will speak on "Field Notes from the Muslim International" at the Heyman Center, Columbia University. This presentation for the Gender and the Global Slum project, which is part of theWomen Creating Change initiative, traces the contours of the "Muslim International" as a conceptual and material space of resistance animated through political culture and cultural politics.
