A Discussion on Islamophobia

Join the Columbia Muslim Student Association for a discussion on understanding current-day Islamophobia. We will hear from expert, Dr. Meziane, a postdoctoral research scholar in the Institute for Religion, Culture and Public Life, on Islamophobia’s intersections with colonialism, racism and institutional violence. We will also be joined by various faith groups to engage in a deeper conversation on how we as a global community can combat anti-Muslim prejudice.

This event is organized by the Columbia Muslim Student Association, and co-sponsored by the Middle East Institute, the Department of African Studies, the Institute for Religion, Culture and Public Life, the Hindu Student Association, and the Sikh Student Group (SEWA).
